This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had!..... Amazing services, delicious fresh pasta , all in a beautiful decorated and confortable place !...The atmosphere was perfect....I really enjoyed my meal.... Can't wait to go again and again!!...Thank you!! 😍

An unexpected hidden gem of an Italian restaurant in the Publix plaza shopping center. I can't speak for the food, as I only drank a beer while waiting for my H&R Block appointment next door, but the menu looked great. Also over 100 different wines for your choosing. The employees were also friendly... Bartender gave me a free sample of the homemade gelato..Awesome!! I'll be back soon to try some lasagna.

If you like attitude, this is the place. We walked in at 6:30 the place is empty besides another couple and i’m told we can’t sit where we want to! I say to the waiter , no one is here, we’ll eat fast and run. No go. Not worth the hassle, don’t waste your time, with their attitude it’s not worth your time or money.

Ok, what an experience. I usually don’t like the restaurants I visit unless they are special. Well, let me tell you, this place must belong to professionals with experience and school. The papardelle was perfectThe eggplant parm was sublime Everyone at the table had the best food. As a pastry chef, I ordered the apple strudel, the stratiatela and the hazelnut ice cream The strudel’s puff pastry was crunchy and fresh. The apples where well cooked and spiced. The stratiatella ice cream was the best I have had but the hazelnut ice cream is the best there is. I went to san giminiano to have ice cream at the world’s best ice cream shop. This ice cream is better without a doubt. Our Waiter gilberto was great. Congratulations!!!

Cozy neighborhood restaurant with an eclectic menu. Excellent food, good wines, great ambiance.

I was going to give 2 stars because the service was good, we sat outside and at the end of the meal there a bunch of specials, that the server never told us about.Anyway we started our meal out with Tuna Tartare and the chickpea salad. Chickpea salad was very good. Tuna Tatartar was basically mush with capers, lemon wedges couldn't be squeezed even to add some flavor.For mains we got Lamb Chops, Short Rib Gnocchis, and Saffron Risotto. Lamb chops come with 6 pieces, a side of cauliflower which was basically 3 pieces and the croquette.Short rib gnocchis was mediocre. The short ribs are supposedly braised but just taste like a poor mans ropa vieja. Saffron Risotto had a good cheesy flavor and grilled shrimp were good( can't go wrong)Bread pudding was good but portion sizes was too small.Portions sizes were definitely faulty with the prices.probably wouldn't return.

Inconsistent food quality and service. One day you may be lucky and the next day it can be the worst restaurant and your worst nightmare as well.

Oh my goodness, this is a very special place! The atmosphere is like no other and for the wine or cheese connoisseur the choices are endless. It is the perfect place to go for charcuterie and wine. We loved the energy of this spectacular Beverly IL Mercato Cafe & Wine Bar . The bar manager is really fun and makes everyone feel welcome. Will for sure be back!

Great atmosphere and unique cuisine fusion: Germany meets Italy in an epicurean blend of the best wines and freshly prepared slow food. Artichokes season is back and the octopus is grilled to perfection. An out of this world schnitzel keeps you wanting for more. Robert provided a level of service second to none. A home made ajoli sauce made the enjoyment of truffle fries a unique delicious experience. When in Florida a visit is a must.

We enjoyed our third visit to Il Mercato. Each time we order something different and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and the food and wine are delicious. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful meal with friends. The service was excellent as were the meals. My wife said the Branzino was the best she ever had. Unique blend of Italian and German...the shnitzel was excellent. I have to comment on reviews that said portions are small. This is the first restaurant where we thought the portion size was normal versus enough for four people.

Hidden little gem with amazing food and friendly service. It's a hole in the wall so it might be tough to get a table without a reservation unless you're willing to sit at the bar. The menu items are creative and the food is fantastic. Try the calamari or the salmon in mushroom sauce.

Really did enjoy this restaurant. I will give them 5 stars for the food and the staff. The menu was excellent with quite a large amount of options and an excellent specials list. Our waitress was wonderful, i just felt bad she was seriously overworked they could have used at least 2 more servers in the restaurant that night. I would recommend it, but expect to not have the quickest or most attentive service. (our waitress again was excellent considering the circumstance)

For these prices i expected a simple dish like linguini and clams to be spot on. They missed the mark. Also the family of four next to me ordered before me but was still waiting for their food while I was being served dessert. High expectations were not met. Dinner for one w/2 glasses of wine and dessert with tip...$72.

4 stars for flavor and service. Minus 1 star because of the portion sizes. Who serves eggplant parmesan without a side?Food is VERY flavorful.l! Wish the portions were a bit larger. Also, there wasn't much eggplant in the eggplant parmesan. But still, the flavor!!!The bread pudding is divine!!!!

Had a bad experience here. Got sick from the calamari, pasta sauce way too spicy, and pasta not good and overcooked. Small portions, and not too many menu options. Salmon portion was cooked raw and had hair on the plate.Although service was good, there was nothing they could do to remedy the situation. I understand everyone can have a bad day, but this is not an excuse for this mess. Sorry, but no thanks.

Very friendly staff and the best calamari I have had.

Love the resturant. Friendly Staff. I always get the Chick-pea salad and it is my favorite but getting that everyday for my lunch the next day. They know my order when I call. I highly recommend this place.

My Favorite Italian Bistro and Wine Bar.

Small and out of the way with inside and outdoor seating this is a great place If you want consistently great food make this your go to restaurant.. Fabulous salads....and pasta that will make each bite better and better. Daily specials and sinful desserts...you need reservations.

I came to this restaurant to pick up a delivery order for a customer on UberEats and I was treated nicely the associates were friendly and I was offered something to drink! Great customer service.

The restaurant very cozy and the staff are friendly.The service was good I had a steak and my friend had lamb chops .The only reason i give it 4 stars is because my friend ask the lamb chops without sauce ( he is allergic to salt ) but its still came with the sauce,but the manager changed the plate and everything else was good.

I was a bit disappointed with Il Mercatto. Although service was courteous, the portions were small. Ordered salmon which was raw in the middle, and mashed potatoes cold. Waitress took it back but the microwave touch killed the entire dish. Bad day.

I absolutely love this spot. Family owned and operated. They are the epitome of what hospitality means, and truly love their business and their guests. The menu changes pretty regularly and is fresh, full of flavor, generally healthy and definitely made with love. I only like cooking at home for the most part as I just don't feel you can get much quality or nutrition dining out, but Il Mercato is one of those exceptions. The restaurant is simple, no frills, and located in the back of a shopping plaza, but you more than get what you paid for, and we continue to go back and have lovely dinners that feel like your'e in someone's home. 5 stars for always exceeding our expectations, excellent service, and delicious cuisine.

Good Italian food

Picked up an order. They were right on time and the food was fabulous. We had the grilled artichokes, lasagna and Bronzino. Packaged well, travelled well and delicious. Sauces on the side. If you’re tired of cooking and you love good food...do this!!

A step above the rest in the area. Superb wines selection and authentic cuisine flavor. Portions a bit small, but food quality is very good.Many former Piola managers and employees work here, and their dedication to service and quality is visible.

How can anyone give this restaurant a bad review. I've been eating here for years and it's always delightful. Sure sometimes you have to wait a little, but the food is well worth it
